Implementation of CRC

 

  • Compilation of National Legislation on Children (Review and Amendments proposed). 

  • Formulation of model for implementation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. 

  • Organized a Group of Intellectuals comprising Heads of Social Welfare Departments of Seven Universities on Child Rights and Development (CRC). 

  • Establishing liaison with all Universities in the country to conduct research on Child Rights and Development. 

  • Plan of Action (POA) are signed annually both at National as well as in Provincial level (PCCWD). A Plan of Action (POA) amounting to Rs:7.23 Million is under process for signature with UNICEF for year 2001.
